radio station, Wazobia 95.1 FM, has kicked of the celebration of its 7th
anniversary in Lagos.
The radio station, which began operations in November 2007 with the aim
of getting fun, entertainment and information to its core and target
audience at the grass roots, has also provided dedicated programmes that
attract several people in the upper class too.
The People’s Station, as Wazobia FM is fondly called, is currently
ranked among the radio stations all over Nigeria with it’s vibrant blend
of indigenous elements and celebration of artists from all over the
African continent winning them converts on daily basis.
Wazobia’s musical and comical background is infused with global and
national news, topical issues, sports, interviews, games and
entertainment gists, all delivered in pidgin English.
To celebrate its 7th year anniversary in a grand style, the radio
station will be giving their listeners the opportunity to be part of the
anniversary celebration all the way.
